It became a university in 1997 and has three campuses: Las Pi?as, Molino, and Calamba. The Las Pi?as Campus, the main campus, hosts approximately 14,000 students and offers more than 70 undergraduate and 10 postgraduate programmes.

All positions are full-time, continuing (tenure-track), teaching and research roles based in Sydney.

The School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering is seeking Academics of all levels who can demonstrate:


	a PhD in a relevant field. Applicants who have submitted their PhD for examination or will do so in the immediate future can be considered
	a strong track record in research appropriate to the discipline and level of appointment (relative to opportunity and taking career disruptions into account)
	computational skills including Aspen Plus, HYSYS, control theory, simulation, SCADA systems, and basic programming
	ability to teach, engage, and support the learning of students using innovative and modern pedagogies, including the organisation and delivery of a unit of study
	outstanding communication skills and collegiality
	high-level problem-solving skills with the ability to address complex issues as they arise.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Cancer Biology, Cancer Immunology, Biomedical Sciences or a related field, and demonstrate exceptional experimental, writing, and communication abilities. Preference will be given to candidates with research experience in cancer bioinformatics, cancer biology and/or cancer immunology; as well as cell/organoid culture, cellular/molecular biology, flow cytometry, animal studies, and cancer-related research work. Applicants should have good communication skills, be self-motivated, have the ability to multi-task with attention to detail, be organized and be able to work independently as well as in a multidisciplinary team. The appointee will work semi-independently under the supervision of Professor Stephanie Ma on research projects relating to cancer cell plasticity with a focus on cancer stemness using hepatocellular carcinoma as a model system, that is part of a theme-based collaborative project.

Position overview

We are seeking a candidate who is deeply motivated by HASS research and enjoys applied work that directly impacts socio-technical/digital infrastructure and research culture. Candidates with experience in interdisciplinary research, values-based design, psychology, digital ethnography, and/or a strong understanding of the digital humanities or social sciences landscape are highly encouraged to apply. Previous experience with Indigenous perspectives in technology or research software engineering (RSE) will be an advantage.

The successful applicant will undertake research related to digital HASS and technology startup culture, using the HDRH and our community as your central case study. You will produce high-quality research outputs oriented to your research interests, including academic articles, white papers, and best practice guidelines in areas such as:


	Digital Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS).
	Digital Galleries Libraries, Archives and Museums (GLAM).
	Indigenous technology design and infrastructure studies.
	Values-based design, responsible design, and sustainability.
	Research Software Engineering (RSE).
