A meeting of minds at Saturday's posthumanism conference run by ECO, the political ecology campaigning group. Introducing speaker John Gray, chairman Alec Ponton said: "He sent me a note saying that the only thing we need to know about him is that he is a fellow of Jesus College, Cambridge. The only thing you need to know about me is that I am not." To which Gray replied: "Nor am I. I am from Jesus College, Oxford."
