Rumours continue that Scottish education minister Brian Wilson is about to be reshuffled in the direction of transport. It is not clear what view the ASC would have of such a move. After Mr Wilson had addressed its conference, singing a paean of praise to the sector's "can-do" attitude, Jim Thomson, chair of Clackmannan College's board, confessed to feeling unhappy and bemused. "It's a long time since I've heard a minister speaking so positively and constructively, and there are no grounds for attacking you."
